In March 2010 after the final work had finished, we let the water settle first before we put in 2,500 fish a mixture of Roach, Rudd and Skimmer Bream supplied by Quiet Sports Fisheries. An Olde Tyme Music Hall is being held at the Seagull Theatre on the 16th Oct at 7- 30 pm all proceeds will go to Fen Park Friends to help them continue their regeneration of Kirkley Fen Park. Just to bring you all up to date, re-stocking of the pond has started with Roach,Rudd and Bream but at this time due to the fish settiling in there will be no fishing until further notice. [...]
