OLDE TYME MUSIC HALL FRIDAY 16TH OCTOBER 2009 7.30PM
An Olde Tyme Music Hall is being held at the Seagull Theatre on the 16th Oct at 7- 30 pm all proceeds will go to Fen Park Friends to help them continue their regeneration of Kirkley Fen Park. Come along and enjoy a good show, a raffle will be held and prizes will be drawn during the interval. Tickets for the night are now on sale at £5 each so please don’t miss out. Fen Park Friends would like to take this opportunity to say a big thankyou to Marion Small, all the artistes appearing and John at the Seagull Theatre.
The night was great and we had a full attendance on the night money that was donated was £560 towards replanting of the pond area and to all who made a donation to the raffle a big Thanks from FPF.
Also a big Thankyou to John Hales for allowing us to use the Seagull Theatre and a special thank you to Marion Small who organised and MCd the night and all the cast who sang there hearts out and entertained everybody on the night once more a BIG THANK YOU from FPF.
Fen Park Friends are meeting on 21st october 2009, 7pm at the Railway Bowls and Social Club on Carlton Road this meeting was cancelled sorry due to illness. NEW RESCHEDULED MEETING IS NOW ON THE 17th NOVEMBER 2009 AT 7PM Please come along, you will be made very welcome and also catch up on the latest news about the pond regeneration project, and all other issues concerning Fen Park. We are about to start the planning for new planting on the Islands.
