Hi Just to let you all know that the pond prodject is still on going and is nearing time for tenders to be issued for the work to progress hopefully in September or October.
We are looking at the moment for a few people to help clear the duckweed so fishing can proceed in the summer months if anybody can help with a boat or two it would be helpfull as we have a boom which could be dragged across the weed to bring it to the side for people with nets to clear.

Sorry the time has streached out a bit to possiable a December start. Its in the hands of the WDC at the moment going through precurerement, and then out for tender so for those that are iterested the work is still ongoing and hopefully will be finished by next Summer I will keep you informed of any progress as I receive it.
This is also to let you know that we have a public meeting on the 11th Nov at the Salvation Army Hall, Carlton Road 7pm sharpe all welcome
